Kurz, Eugen, born 13-11-1895 in Metzingen, Württemberg, entered the Army as a Musketier in the 246th Reserve Infantry Regiment, age 19, on 20-05-1915. He was wounded
in American captivity until the end of World War I. He was allowed in the new Reichswehr
and when World War II started, he as an Oberstleutnant was Chief of Operations with the Staff of the Army Weapons Office, until 1942. Promoted to Oberst, he was appointed as Chief of the Procurement Department OKH
, until 08-05-1945, meanwhile a Generalmajor he landed in Allied captivity and released in 1947.

Retiring in Ludwigsburg he at the old age of 85 died, on 04-11-1981 and buried with his wife Ursula, born Boseart, who died age 76, in 1970, on the Neuer Friedhof of Ludwigsburg.
