Hülst, Theobald von, born 24-05-1877 in Gollub, West Prussia,
entered the Army Service, as a Fahnenjunker, age 19, in the 6th Foot Artillery Regiment on 25-04-897. Theobald was in the fields of the first war as Company Chief of the 4th Foot Artillery Regiment
and retired on 25-06-1919. He joined the Army Service again on 01-10-1933 as a Territorial Officer and from 05-03-1935 as a Supplement Officer. He was retired again on 30-04-1934, age 56. When World War II was nearing he was placed to disposal of the Army on 26-08-1939. He was promoted to Oberstleutnant on 15-05-1934, to Oberst on 01-10-1936 and to Generalmajor on 01-10-1942. Von Hülst was appointed to director of Psychological Tests Office VI, until 31-01-1943 and finally retired, age 65.

Von Hülst lived in Münster after the war and died there at the age of 74, on 07-12-1951 and is buried on the Zentralfriedhof of Münster. Close by the graves of, Weimar Chancellor Hermann Brüning
