and succeeded in a pilot training and ended the war as a Battalion Leader with the Sea Flight Command, in Warnemünde. Friedensburg retired from the Luftwaffe on 14-07-1919 and returned to civil life as a Kapitänleutnant. From 01-01-1932 he was an adviser of the War Ministry in Venezuela until Mai 1934. On 01-08-1934 reactivated in the Krieg marine as a Korvettenkapitän at the same time as a Major in

. From 01-10-1936 he was the commander of of the Flying School in Neuruppin and from 01-10-1937 until 03-08-1938 as commander of the Flyer Weapon School in Parow. He then was assigned as to the

until March 1939. With the outbreak of World War II he was, meanwhile a Generalleutnant, Higher Flying Training Command 17 in Vienna, until 31-03-1940. He became Officer with Special Duties in the RLM and was Chief in Staff of the Luftwaffe, to 30-09-1940. Friedensburg was assigned as Armaments Inspector IV in Dresden to 15-08-1943, now a Generalmajor. He was a Special Agent South with the Air Region Command III to 31-05-1944, as he was retired from the Luftwaffe Service, on 31-05-1944. He still landed in American captivity on 08-05-1945 until 20-05-1947 and Friedensburg who was married twice and had one son, lived in Kassel with many other WWII Generals. His brother was Ferdinand Friedensburg

an politician and substitute mayor of Berlin, in 1945. Ferdinand died old age 1972, in Berlin.
