Allmendinger, Karl, born 11-10-1919 in Deggingen, Göppingen, 
Baden-Württemberg, Germany to August Allmendinger. Karl was a Messerschmitt Bf 110 G4, 
pilot with the German Luftwaffe, under command of Hermann Wilhelm Göring “Peter” Hermann Ludwig Göring, 
the son of his brother Albert was killed over the coast of France. Peter was the wing man of the famous Luftwaffe General Adolf “Dolfo” Josef Ferdinand Galland. 
Albert Günther Göring (Friedenau, 09-03-1895 – Neuenbürg, 20-12-1966) 
was a German businessman who managed to save many Jews and dissidents during the Nazi regime.
After the liberation, Albert Göring was arrested and interrogated in Nuremberg. He spent two years behind bars—solely because of his surname. It was only after testimonies regarding his actions were given that he was released. For his own safety, he was transferred to Argentina, where he lived for several years. Bitter years followed, marked by periods of unemployment during which he received financial support from people whose lives he had saved. He subsequently lived in Munich, working as a translator and designer for a construction company. The man who had spent his youth in castles passed his final years in a small apartment. For many years after his death, he was completely forgotten; his name does not appear at the Yad Vashem memorial center. It was only after the publicity surrounding Oskar Schindler 
—who had performed similar deeds just a few hundred kilometers away from Göring—that his name was rescued from oblivion.
Albert, age 71, 
is buried at the Waldfriedhof München Großhadern in München, Germany, location: Plot 76-W-1). Grave is gone.
On 15-08-1942 Karl’s brother Herbert was killed in battle fighting in Russia in the region Am grossen Donbergen

Karl on 14-01-1944, age 24, crashed with his Messerschmitt Bf 110 G4 during landing, 
over De Lutte, Losser, Overijssel, Netherland. Karl is buried at the WWII German Military Cemetery YsselsteynYsselsteyn, Venray, Limburg, Netherland, Section Q-10-227.
