Heineccius, Georg Hans Richard von, born 23-08-1881 in Glogau. He came from the von Heineccius family and was the son of the Prussian Generalmajor Georg von Heineccius (1840-1907). His son Günther (* 1912) became a medical officer and Generalmajor Benno von Heineccius was his uncle. Benno died 19-10-1911 in Berlin-Westend age 81.
Von Heineccius graduated from the Cadet Corps and then entered on 09-02-1900 as a Leutnant with a patent of 20-06-1899 in the 8th Infantry Regiment No. 153 of the Prussian Army. Here he was used as adjutant of the 2nd Battalion, rose in 1908 to regimental adjutant and was promoted to Leutnant on 09-08-1909. As a captain followed on 01-10-1913 his transfer as adjutant of the 84th Infantry Brigade to Lahr / Black Forest.
He held this position even after the outbreak of the First World War. In the further course of the war Von Heineccius served as a company commander, in the General
Staff and last as a major in the command of the Schutztruppe in Berlin in the department prisoner welfare.
Von Heineccius was transferred to the Police Service on 17-03-1920. He stayed with the Police Service until 15-03-1934 and was transferred into the Army Service again as an Oberst. He became the commander of the 80th Infantry Regiment to 06-10-1936, meanwhile a Generalmajor. Until 30-06-1942 he was the commandant of Hamburg and landed in the Führer Reserve until 31-08-1942.

On 31-08-1942 he was retired and placed to disposal of the Army. Heineccius was killed in an Air Raid over Hamburg, age 62, on 13-12-1943. He is buried with his wife Dora, born Wagner, who died age 79 on 27-02-1968, on the Neuer Friedhof in Oldenburg.
