Ruville, Alexander von, born 11-10-1880 in Potsdam was a Generalmajor of the Wehrmacht. His first son Ernst Alfred died very young age 6, on 02-02-1935, in Potsdam and his son Oberleutnant Karl Anton, born 08-08-1910, was killed in action in Russia, age 33, on 24-11-1943. Retired von Ruville lived in Münster where he at the young age of 54 died on 16-01-1947.

Von Ruville is buried with his wife Felicitas, born Kühne, who died old age 86, on 16-08-1982, on the Ostfriedhof Nienberge, a suburb of Münster. On the Waldfriedhof Lauheide, in Münster and only steps of the graves of the WWII Generalleutnant der Flieger, Hans Sommer

  Chef der Luftwaffe Adminstratie, General der Infanterie, Kommandeur Wehrkreis VI, Gerhard Glokke. On the Zentral cemetery of Münster are buried the Weimar Republic Chancellor Heinrich Brüning and the Generalmajor der Artillerie, Chef der Psychologische Testbüro VI, Theobald Hülst.
