Lindner, Kurt, born 22-10-1891 in Wohlar, joined the Army on 09-04-1911, in the 176th Infantry Regiment, age 19. He was in the fields of the first war and wounded
4 months in hospital in Torhout Belgium, Halberstadt and Thorn, to 08-03-1918. He remained in the new Reichswehr
and was an Oberst with the command of the 3rd MG Battalion until December 1939. Commander of the 391st Infantry Regiment to 08-04-1942, landed in the Führer Reserve to 05-05-1942 and again commander, now of the 252nd Infantry Replacement Regiment, to 15-07-1942. Commander of Grenadier Regiment 252 B to 05-02-1943 and again in the Reserve to 15-07-1943. Commander of Under Officer School East, in Posen to 20-11-1943. He was Tactics Instructor for ground tactics with the 3rd Flying School Division, until 28-04-1945. His last command was as commander of the Officers Aspirants School for Infantry and Cavalry, until 08-05-1945 and in Allied captivity.
