Höfert, Johannes "Hans"
Johannes Höfert “Hans”, born 26-01-1880 in Magdeburg, Buckau, entered the Army Service as a Fähnrich in the 64th Field Artillery Regiment on 15-02-1902, age 22. He is in the fields of the first war and ended the war as a Hauptmann and commander of the Flak Battalion Plauen. He joined the Police Service after the was and retired on 30-09-1935. From 01-08-1935 he is Supplement Officer in Hermann Goering's (see Hermann Goering) (did you know) Luftwaffe. Detached to the Military Replacement Supplement in Berlin from 03-07-1937 until 31-12-1937. He became the Luftwaffe Advisor with Military Replacement Inspection in Munich to 28-02-1940. His last command is of Military District Munich and retired on 30-01-1943, not useful anymore for Hitler’s warfare (see Adolf Hitler) (did you know). Living in Tegerensee he died at the age of 64, on 13-02-1944 and is buried on the Stadtfriedhof of Tegerensee, and his neighbours are the Flying Ace Gerhard Barkhorn (see Barkhorn) and the SS Obergruppenführer Friedrich von Eberstein (see Eberstein), General Hans Reinhardt (see Reinhardt), General Otto Grün (see Grün) and General August Wagner (see Wagner).
